As reported by the Israeli daily Haaretz, the United Arab Emirates and Israel will join forces in space exploration. In 2024, both countries have planned to land the Israeli unmanned Beresheet 2 on the moon.
The first attempt to land an Israeli lunar module on the moon has failed. In 2019, the ship crashed. The Beresheet 2 mission will be part of an agreement to be signed between Israel and the UAE to develop space technologies. The unit will take soil samples and perform experiments on the surface of the silver globe. Israel and the United Arab Emirates are accelerating cooperation under a standardization agreement – the Abrahamic Agreements, negotiated last year by the Trump administration.
